The ability to meet and learn online became an urgent need for the international research and education community at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Roman Yatsenko, Head of the E-Learning Tools Department at Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics (KhNUE), was among the first in Ukraine to test eduMEET. The tool was introduced by the Ukrainian Research and Academic Network, URAN, with the support of EaPConnect, to support online meeting and learning during the restrictions on travel and working.
