We are excited to announce the International Conference ‘RENAM E-Infrastructure – Supporting Excellence in National Research and Education’, marking the 25th anniversary of RENAM Association, the National Research and Education Network of Moldova. This event is organised by RENAM, the Moldova State University and the pan-European academic network GÉANT, with support from the Ministry of Education and Research, the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, and the EU-funded project ‘EU4Digital: Connecting Research and Education Communities (EaPConnect)’.
Over the past 25 years, RENAM has developed a modern electronic communications infrastructure, becoming a reliable provider of ‘spectrum’ connectivity in Moldova – the first in the country. This infrastructure supports the digitalisation strategy in education and scientific research, facilitating international cooperation through its connection to the high-speed GÉANT network.
The conference will provide a platform to explore the latest advancements in research and educational networking, e-infrastructures, digitalisation, and scientific-educational collaboration. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with experts and establish new international partnerships.
