If you have a bright idea that you’d like to share with policy makers, research managers and experts on networking, cultural heritage, and high-performance computing for research and education in Eastern Partnership countries, the EaPEC 2019 conference is a great opportunity. Proposals for 5-minute lightning talks, demonstrations and posters can be submitted until 31st July.

EaPEC is the Eastern Partnership E-infrastructures Conference, which supports community building and helps to create a platform for collaboration between Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine – and peers and partners from within the European Union.

EaPEC 2019 is the 4th of these conferences and will be held on 25-26 September in Yerevan, Armenia, hosted by IIAP NAS RA (ASNET-AM) the research and education networking organisation of Armenia.

Topics

The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Connecting with Culture’, and will explore topics including Digital Libraries & Cultural Heritage Digitisation, e-Science, Cloud or IaaS, Machine Learning and AI, Open Science, and e-Infrastructure Applications. Other topics for lightning talks, demos and posters are also welcome.

How to submit proposals

All proposals should be prepared as 300-word abstracts using the provided MS Word template (https://bit.ly/EaPEC-template). You may submit more than one proposal, but for each topic you should indicate whether it would be presented as a lightning talk only, or as a poster with a lightning talk, or as a demonstration. Submissions should be sent to submit_eap@geant.org.
