Tech activists from Eastern Partnership countries were invited to take part in ‘The Global Hack’ to find solutions to problems caused by the coronavirus crisis. The event was supported by the EU and the ‘EU4Digital’ initiative, and its aim was to identify the best innovative solutions to the current challenges faced by COVID-19. More than 12,000 participants from 98 countries presented over 1,000 ideas. The ideas included eight submissions from Georgia, four from Ukraine and Belarus each, and a total of nine solutions from Armenia, Azerbaijan and the Republic of Moldova.
