RENAM, the Research and Educational Networking Association of Moldova, is the organiser of this second dissemination event as part of a series of national events and initiatives on Open Science, under the project NI4OS-Europe (National Initiatives for Open Science in Europe). The event will take place online on 5 May 2022 and mainly targets participants from Moldova.
This event’s main goal is to inform national stakeholders about the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) initiative and its aspects, in particular about NI4OS-Europe overall project objectives and activities, its evaluation and incentives in the context of Open Science, and will also cover OpenAIRE services and examples of Open Science good practices from European countries. The target audience includes national service providers, e-infrastructure experts, institutional repository management, academia and research communities, librarians, as well as representatives from industry and SMEs.
RENAM, one of NI4OS-Europe partners is organising this activity with the support of the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova and the National Agency for Research and Development. RENAM is one of the 22 partners, from 15 countries, that participate in NI4OS-Europe project implementation. NI4OS-Europe supports the establishment of the National OSC Initiatives in the participating countries, promotes the FAIR data principles and provides technical and policy support for on-boarding of service providers into EOSC, including generic services (compute, data storage, data management), thematic services, repositories and data sets.
The event will be held online, 13:00 – 16:00 (Chișinău time), supported by the NI4OS-Europe Training Platform.
